PROFILE

Short Biography

born in 1981 in Kanagawa, Japan. lives in Kyoto, Japan. His activities is based on computer programming and focuses on to make complexity with simple elements. In his works which is in various styles such as installation, live performance and textile, he uses primitive materials e.g. sine waves, pulses, dots, lines and some calculated noise function and make complexity by interferences of these elements. He is a founder of sound art project The SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA. He is also working as Engineer/Technical Collaborator for artists such as Shiro TAKATANI, Ryuichi SAKAMOTO and so on. He is a member of artist collective Dumb Type and participate to Theater works of Shiro TAKATANI as a project member.
